Over the years we've had a number of tremendous accomplishments and adventures. Luckily, some of this has been captured in photos and films about the program.
- The Helping Hands Mural has become one of the symbols of Positive Planet. We have two slide shows that capture its meaning:
- The creation of the mural by students ot Ryan Middle School in Queens captures the spirit of fun and caring in the creative process.
- The reception of the mural and the excitement it generated at the Kirumba Primary School in Uganda is captured in the second slide show.
- Our Ugandan Wildlife slide show captures some of the beauty and incredible creatures we saw in 2007 on our trip to Uganda during our visits to several Ugandan National Parks.
- We currently have two on-line films available on the site. Both show the project through the eyes of our students. The first is a short look at Hannah Senesh and Matale Hill, the first two schools in the program. The second film "Hannah and her Sister School" chronicles the experience of one of our American Students from the Mary McDowell Center for Learning who was able to visit Uganda and meet her pen pal.
