Zoom In: Helping Hands mural created at the annual Ryan Middle School Earth Day festival
The Story: Since 2004 students at Ryan Middle School in Queens NY have raised money for their sister school through an Earth Day Fair. The fair contains booths where students can participate in games (designed by students), partake in face or hair painting, puchase food, etc. One of the highlights has become the "Helping Hands Mural," where students donate .50 to paint their hands and place them on the sheet. The following photos show the mural being made.
