Sister Schools: Children Creating Community Across the Globe

Last year the students of the Hannah Senesh Community Day School Filmmaking Program have been hard at work. Under the direction of professional documentary filmmaker Nicole Opper and with the support of Positive Planet and a grant from the Puffin Foundation, they have completed Sister Schools: Children Creating Community Across the Globe, an 8-minute documentary. This film tells the story of our first sister school partnership between the Hannah Senesh Community Day School and the St. Andrews Matale Hill Primary School. Children and teachers from both schools speak movingly of how small acts of kindness and friendship have built a bridge across an ocean and made a huge difference in the lives of both communities.
